I really like my violin. Its tone is rather dark and refined. It responds very quickly, is easy to play with all techniques, and produces a wide variety of tonal colors.

It is a truly outstanding instrument, in the sense that it doesn’t come in the way at all for the music, it lets me make any shape, color, phrase, I can push the sound or play extremely soft and it responds. It’s an instrument whose voice the player feels really connected to in a very emotional and visceral way.
