Since August 2024, I have been working independently again, in close collaboration with Gianmaria Stelzer in Zurich.

Since 2021, a new and intensive phase in my work on new instruments has begun, during which I have oriented myself more closely toward the working methods and visual language of Italian originals from the 17th and 18th centuries.
2011, I joined Wilhelm Geigenbau as a business partner, where I was deeply involved in the repair and maintenance of a large number of instruments. The spirit of innovation and the strong focus on tonal quality within this large workshop provided an ideal environment for advancing the development and application of new, sustainable materials in violin making.
I gained my first experience in violin making in Cremona. I graduated from the I.P.I.A.L.L. in 1998 and worked between 1994 and 1999 in several workshops, including those of Gaspar Borchardt and Sibylle Fehr, Michele Dobner, and Luigi Gamba.
Driven by the desire to pursue my own path, I became self-employed in 2000 in Sassocorvaro, near Urbino. Between then and 2011, I built approximately 50 violins, violas, and cellos, mostly based on my own models. In addition to collaborating with bow maker Andrea Proietti, I maintained a continuous exchange with Wilhelm Geigenbau in Switzerland from as early as 2001, facilitated through Philip Ihle.
